Pay on Delivery (POD) Guidelines & Inspection Terms
Applicable to all courier drop-offs across Makurdi, Gboko, and Otukpo
Our Core Commitment to Benue Shoppers
SefaHub provides Pay on Delivery so you can order with absolute confidence. These terms explain exactly what you can and cannot do during the inspection window before handing payment to our dispatch rider.
- ✓ Verify that outer packaging is intact and undamaged.
- ✓ Check item count and quantity matches your order receipt.
- ✓ Confirm brand names, pack sizes, and visible model numbers.
- ✓ Check visible expiration dates on outer cardboard cartons.
- ✓ Reject the delivery without cost if items were visibly crushed or wrong.
- ✗ Break inner factory seals on food containers or beverages.
- ✗ Open baby formula tins, powdered milk, or hygiene packs.
- ✗ Unseal cosmetics, fragrances, or intimate apparel.
- ✗ Boot up or configure electronic laptops/phones before payment.
- ✗ Detain or delay dispatch riders beyond a reasonable 5-minute check.
Arbitrary Rejection & Blacklisting Policy
Our couriers navigate traffic and fuel logistics across Benue State to bring provisions to your doorstep. If items delivered match your exact order specifications and are free of transit damage, arbitrary refusal to accept or refusing to meet the rider creates unfair costs. Customers who arbitrarily abandon or decline valid orders will be disqualified from future Pay on Delivery orders and restricted to prepaid payment methods.
Disputes & Customer Support
If an error is discovered after payment has been completed (e.g. internal manufacturer defect), do not hold the courier rider. Contact our Makurdi Operations Helpdesk immediately on WhatsApp at +234 703 494 4168 or email info@sefashub.com with your order receipt.
