Question 1

Can I inspect my package before paying in Makurdi or Gboko?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. Under our verified Pay on Delivery (POD) guidelines, you have the right to inspect outer packaging, item counts, and physical integrity upon courier arrival before handing over cash or completing a POS/instant bank transfer. Note that inner factory seals on food consumables, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics must remain intact prior to payment.

Question 2

What payment methods are supported on SEFA?

Accepted Answer

SEFA supports flexible, secure local payment options: (1) Pay on Delivery via cash or direct bank transfer upon doorstep arrival; (2) Instant mobile transfer with live confirmation; (3) Secure online debit cards via Paystack; and (4) SEFA Wallet balance with cashbacks for recurring household orders.

Question 3

What are the delivery timelines across Makurdi, Gboko, and Otukpo?

Accepted Answer

Central Makurdi zones (Wurukum, High Level, Modern Market, Low Level, Wadata) receive express 30–45 minute motorcycle courier dispatch from our central depot on Nyesom Wike Road. Outlying zones (Kanshio, North Bank, Apir, BSU and JOSTUM campuses) receive same-day dispatch within 2–4 hours. Scheduled regional shuttle vans dispatch daily to Gboko (Adekaa, Mkar, Central) and Otukpo (Upu Road, Sabon Gari, FUHSO).

Question 4

How does SEFA ensure partner store inventory is physically in stock and synchronized?

Accepted Answer

SEFA implements a multi-tier inventory synchronization strategy: (1) Direct real-time POS webhook integration for computerized supermarket partners; (2) Daily batch digital inventory audits and physical stock validation by our local depot team; (3) Centralized buffer inventory stored at our primary Makurdi fulfillment warehouse; and (4) Merchant control drawers enabling partner stores to toggle item availability in real-time.

Question 5

How does temperature-controlled cold chain logistics work for meat, dairy, and cold drinks?

Accepted Answer

Perishable groceries, yogurts, fresh cuts, butter, and chilled drinks are packed in specialized food-grade thermal insulated carrier bags with reusable freeze-gel packs. This maintains cold-chain integrity from warehouse pickup until handover at your doorstep, even during Benue's warm midday heat.

Question 6

Are products guaranteed 100% authentic and factory-sealed?

Accepted Answer

Every product listed on SEFA is sourced directly from authorized FMCG manufacturers and accredited Nigerian regional distributors (e.g. Dufil Prima for Indomie, Power Oil, Colgate-Palmolive, Dano, Diageo, Pernod Ricard). We maintain a strict zero-counterfeit policy with manufacturer batch verification.

Question 7

Can I place bulk orders or pool orders for hostels, events, and restaurants?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SEFA offers wholesale tier discounts (10% to 20% off) for carton quantities of noodles, cooking oil, canned goods, premium spirits, and beverages. We also support hostel group-pooling and event catering deliveries with dedicated light trucks and vans across Benue.
